Friends of the Natural History Museum

Friends of the Bamberg Natural History Museum e.V.

Our Friends Association was founded on 5th of March in 2016 – 225 years after the founding of the Bamberg Natural History Cabinet. The association aims to support our natural history museum as an important natural history education and research center in Upper Franconia financially and ideally. Among other things, we invite you to lectures and excursions, finance the preparation of exhibits and contribute to scientific research projects.

Membership in the association entitles you to free admission to the museum and also offers advantages at various events of the museum or association.
